Grover – Sydney funk band

Dunes with Grover

Grover

Sadly Grover has decided to call it a day and is no longer available for bookings. Scotty has a new band happening called the Royals. The concept of the band is similar to Grover and will feature the best singers in Sydney. Check them out here.

Grover was at the forefront of Sydney’s live scene for more than a decade. The band was formed when Scotty pooled together a team of like minded musicians. From humble beginnings they gained traction fast and grew to become one of Sydney’s premier live bands.

Grover played at International Jazz festivals, had sell out shows at the Basement and held down several residencies at some of Sydney’s best clubs. These include the Slip Inn, Hemmesphere, Shore Club, Sugar Lounge and Beach Road.

Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Grover had many different line ups over the years. One thing always remained, their flair for laying down funk.

Enjoy the pics and clips below that pay homage to this great Sydney funk band.
